Our friends over at Jalopnik are currently at Jaguar F-Type media event over in Seattle, where they had a chance to catch up with its design Wayne Burgess (check out our full interview with him here), who revealed some interesting sources of inspiration for some of its detailing. The first is a real easter egg - a detail that once you've discovered it you can't help but see - the front lamp cans are based on Star Wars' TIE Fighter. What has been seen can not be unseen.
The Mini story continues, with the announcement that a new entry-level Clubman, the Mini One Clubman, is to launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The Mini One Clubman comes with the same 1.4 litre engine as the Mini One, producing 95bhp and boasting the same suspension set-up as the Mini Coopers, which at least means the new Clubman One should be fun to throw around. When Audi previewed a coupe SUV heading for a debut at the Beijing Motor Show recently, we were convinced it would be a concept version of a coupe SUV – the Audi Q2. But we were wrong. In fact, the coupe SUV heading for Beijing is the Audi TT Off-Road Concept, a concept that does exactly what it says on the tin – it looks just like a four-door TT on stilts.
